I. love. this. wedding! I knew I would a year ago when I met with Lindsey and Andy about their day.Lindsey and Andy were amazing, the bridal party was amazing and ooooohhhhhh the flowers. I think I’m obbessed with the flowers. So the love birds met at work-so it was only perfect that we went to the place where it all started for a few photos. Another thing that made was wonderful about this wedding was that there were a few familiar faces! There were 2 other Todd Studios couples at/in the wedding, it makes me the happiest person ever when couples referr me to their friends. Katie + Matt {Married}

I’ve known Katie for a handful of years now, so when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was beyond excited because I knew what a great bride she would be…and I was right. These 2 love birds got married on probably what was the windiest days in April. So windy that when Katie went to leave the church her veil flew out of her hair and straight up to the roof of the very tall church. It was quite the experience! Luckily nothing a few groomsmen couldn’t handle. One of those moments where you don’t laugh at when it’s happening, but when looking back it was kind of funny. Katie and Matt were amazing clients to work with and even better friends. Enjoy!

Seriously? It’s May already!!?!! April has been insane! Time flies when your photography so many amazing weddings. Jaime and Clinton had one of the only nice weather days in April. It was a perfect day filled with navy, pink, bling, love and happiness. Enjoy!

I love engagement sessions. It’s simply a time to get to know the bride and groom better, get to know their personalities, how they met, talk more about the wedding, try new ideas you can’t try on a wedding day…you get what I’m saying…

Emily and John’s session was exactly that – it was relaxed, went to a few locations and even tried something new. The nice people at the Tivoli let us take a few minutes and shoot inside the movie theater! FUN!

We are gearing up for a crazy weekend! We have 2 fabulous weddings this weekend and then I have a photo conference Sunday and Monday. Guess who is here!! Many of you know Dana, one of my fabulous wedding photographers was expecting. Mr. Wyatt Raymond surprised the world almost 2 weeks early! 10lb 7 oz. and 22 inches. After the family arrived back home Jennifer (our other fabulous TS photographer) and I couldn’t get our cameras over there fast enough.

Here is a little Friday goodness for you. Last weekend I had such a great time getting to know this Krissy and Mike better. Sometimes not having a set plan is my favorite way to go. We knew we wanted to get a good mix of outfits and then Krissy mentioned a junk yard. She won my heart! I knew right then that we could explore and get new cool textures and backgrounds and they would be willing to go along with it. So that is exactly what we did. We set out to the Sculpture park and started with some nice park photos and then spiced it up with a wardrobe change and off to explore. I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding!!

Jenny + Arron {Married!}

You have no idea how excited I am to blog this wedding! I think Jenny and I both had our fingers crossed weeks before the wedding secretly wishing for snow. SURE ENOUGH…she got her winter wonderland and I got the bride and groom in the snow photos that you just don’t always get when you live in St. Louis. This weeding was amazing. Seriously. I know I say that about most of my weddings but this couple was so much fun and the entire bridal party was great to work with. Ok let’s get to the good stuff….grab a cup of coffee because this is a big one!

We started with getting ready photos naturally…in love with her gold sparkly shoes! Purse, fur wrap and bracelets were just a few things passed down from her Grandma and Mom to make her day even more special.

So I know I say a lot of the same things over and over - like how much I love what I do. Well it’s couples like Jenny and Aaron that make that true. They had remembered from our first meeting that we talked about how photographers don’t ever to get eat lunch and we get hungry. So what was waiting for me when I arrived the wedding day? A 31 cooler with my name on it jammed packed with healthy snacks for the day! Food and photography, they know how to win me over! So very sweet of them!
